Hello Planet Minecraft! I am looking to get a new computer for me to build. I dont know much about building computers as this will be my first. I am wanting to get a powerfull pc to run and record minecraft with shaders on more than 60fps. Im sure this is possible at my budget of £700 about $1000. Any feedback or suggestions (Preferably from part picker) would be great.

How many fps would it run Gta V at?

I can't give an estimate, but it will surely be able to max it out with no issue.

CosmopathGo with Captain's build, I thought you said you would be streaming, sorry.

Your build isn't exactly better for streaming. For streaming, the more CPU cores, the better. I'm not saying 4 Haswell cores aren't good enough (they're plenty); what I am saying is that since we both put quad-core Haswell chips in our builds, at stock speeds they should perform about the same in gaming and streaming scenarios.

It's not a bad build (in fact it's a pretty good overclocking build for the price), it's just not optimized for what OP wants to do. He can save money by not getting an unlocked CPU & Z-series chipset and put that money towards a better GPU.

Yeah, sorry about that, it was pretty early in the morning when I wrote that.

Around 60-70 fps maxed out at 1080p for GTA V. Battlefield and everything else will run like a breeze.

EDIT: Nevermind, pretty sure you need an operating system. OS stands for Operating System.

What is this computer going to be used for? Recording minecraft with shaders, recording gta and recording battlefield hardline.
List what you will be doing with your computer. ^^^
What is your budget? My budget is around £700 or $1000
Include amount and currency. My currency is pound sterling
Where do you live? If in the US, do you have a nearby Microcenter? I live in the United Kingdom
Your country lets us know what sites you can order from. If you have a nearby Microcenter they have some great in-store only deals that you can take advantage of: Dont know of any stores nearby that would sell parts, so there isnt anything i can really take advantage of
What is included in the budget? In the budget the pc, mouse, keyboard and monitor is included.
Things like the tower, the OS, peripherals and monitors.
Will you be overclocking? No idea what this means xD
Overclocking will require different hardware than a non-overclocking build so we need to know this.
Will you be reusing any parts? Nope im wanting a fresh start
If you are reusing parts list them here.
What OS do you want? No idea what an OS is
Say which OS you want or say if you already have a copy of one.
Any specific case preferences? Not really, looks are not crucial.
Any other special features that you want in the build? Alot of ram 8+
Stuff like an SSD, large hard drive, RAID, and wifi I would need wifi and probably a large hard drive.
