I was wondering about what type of gaming laptop to get. I want one that is good but not to expensive. http://www.staples.com/Dell-Alienware-1 ... uct_968086
it's a bit expensive, but I might get it. Should I get that or is there a less expensive one?

galika1080If you want a specialized gaming computer, you can build your own desktop with great specs for under $450. Just buy parts from a computer parts retailer like newegg.com. Good luck!

No. No. No. No. No.
Don't start this.
The OP wants a laptop.

@OP
Get the Behemoth if you don't have a problem spending $2500 on a laptop, and will most likely not need an upgrade for a long time.

Get the Lenovo Y50 if you are unwilling to spend $2500 on a laptop, and you want to save $1500.

Why? If someone whats to jump off a cliff, we shouldn't change their mind?

@OP, why do you want a laptop, and would you be comfortable with building a desktop?

The thing is the Behemoth has 2 GPUs. I don't know any reason in the world that can explain me why a laptop needs 2 GPUs.

Just a heads up: gaming, laptop, and inexpensive don't go together too well. I would get an unspecialized laptop with a good processor (Intel i7 is good), a decent bit of RAM (8GB is enough), and a fast graphics card (I know nothing about graphics cards, so ask someone else). Why would you ever need two 880m in a laptop? I would just get a Lenovo Y50 for around $1000

Thats true but if he's planning about keeping this laptop for a while, this will be sure to run even future games and still be good down the road. You do have a good point though.

Get a normal old laptop, then boost it with parts you buy seperately, so much better, so much cheaper
Titan / Titan Z Graphics Card so, much, power.

You can't. The only laptops you can upgrade parts like CPU and GPU are Asus ROGs.

For that much you can get a laptop with 880M. 770M is just a waste.
