This is the latest firmware update for Nintendo Switch, now I have to ask something, where are the themes? the 3DS had lots of them, and let's be honest, while they don't add anything important to basic function, they are cool to look at.

Firstly, I don't think this is the place for it. Secondly, I don't think they will add the themes for a while.

This is probably not the place to discuss politics either, but it has happened in the general discussions section. :)
Point taken, but Nintendo Switch comes with a standard black or white theme.
I guess it's more important for them to add things like more retro games first in the NES section. I hope eventually Gamecube and N64 games come to their Online subscription service too.
