Offering free DNS subdomains

People may or may not know I do own my own website which is in my signature. I just decided today that I will offer free DNS routing sub domains for servers that don't want to use no-ip, or a plain ip address. If you ever have an Ip address change, private message me on here, or my website with the new Ip, and the sub domain you have.
The only disadvantage is it will be <something>.galacticarc.ca
Thats the only domain name that I own, so if you want a subdomain, then private message me, or apply on this post. I may only allow up to 50 DNS entries.
I am not sure if this is the right section, but it seems like the best one either way.
Advantages:
- Having the same subdomain, even if ip address changes, you can still keep your players unconfused by keep the Ip address to the subdomain.
- More memorable ip address for your server, instead of trying to remember numbers.
- Possible free advertising for your server!
Application:
- Server Name:
- What Sub domain you want: <insert here>.galacticarc.ca (Example: mc.galacticarc.ca, which is taken.)

Yeah they change depending on the host you are providing either way most are the same... add the domain name u want for it and address... and if able to select the record... yours has 2 separate ones which makes it a little simpler to see

To set up a DNS if you own a domain name and you host allows sub domains for your account look for Advanced Domain Control and add an A or CNAME record
use the base IP address not the port number

I wanted to ask UMayBleed, sir, how does one go about configuring the DNS for what you are doing?
As i too own a website, but I don't know how to configure the DNS, other than to change from IMAP/POP3 to Exchange emails.

It's easy to do if you have a website under CPanel hosting using Linux. You simply add an entry, and it will configure the DNS. There should be a thing on your CPanel called Advanced DNS Zone editor, or Simple DNS zone editor
