Unless you replace the Chrome OS with a Linux distribution, Minecraft will not run on a Chromebook. If you're interested in gaming, use a Windows laptop or desktop PC that is actually designed for gaming.

Theres a way to install a Shell onto a Chrome OS to get the linux base from it, since the chrome OS is a modified ubuntu. I forget how to do it, but my little brother did it to his.
