My brother led me to the game world at the age of 8 when we got our first computer, but I didn't have too much time playing games, because the computer was always occupied by my brother : (

I was around 6 or so, starting out on the classic Gameboy, playing pokemon. Then a Gameboy color, with pokemon red, then yellow. /THEN/ I lost it, and started drawing. /THEN THEN/The family got a computer, and I spent my time playing this one snow boarding game, which I completely forget the name of. And pretty much since then I've been exploring a bunch of different games and gaming culture.

I would think around..... 7 or 8. Started with the hasbro (maybe) games that came on a disc, and you could play card games or casino games. Then I went to like NeoPets (I know..) and the first console game I played was Star Wars Racer's Revenge and that I think is what started it. At that point I think I was 12 or so.

Was hooked on this epic thing as a little kid.
The earliest thing I can remember is of the day my sister was born, she's 3,5 years younger than me. I was running around the house with this thing. That's pretty much all I remember too! 🤣 So, I must've been 3,5 years old when I first played this tetris game? 😅 Probably without having a single clue what I was doing, though.

I was about 4 years old back in 1999 when my dad got me my first console, the PSOne with Time Crisis, some go-karting game, GTA: London and GTA 2. I had a lapse where I didn't game as I had no console between 2001 and 2003 before I got a PlayStation 2 slimline with Spider-Man 2, TOCA Race Driver and 007 Nightfire.

My first gaming experience were those plug and play games, which more a while I thought were the only type of videogames. Then my brother got a ds along with a cartage of Lego Batman, and then that blew my mind.

My cousin had an extra Gameboy and gave it to me to play. No idea how to play it, but she gave me the basics. We actually had a photo of it. My cousin and I actually recreated the picture recently just with Switches this time.

I can't even remember if you count old-fashioned board and paper games, cards, and the like. I guess I started video games with Pong way back in the day. Then we got an Atari 2600 around 82/83. MAN I'm old.

when i was quite young - my father was very big on gaming, and i was quite close to him, so it was something we bonded over.
he passed away, but i still enjoy video games very much, thanks to him. ♥

Games period, about age 4 (memory is a bit unreliable that far back).
Computer games, not until the 70's (maybe very late 60's, but frivolous use of computers was very strongly discouraged back then.)
[This didn't apply to the denizens of the math department, and wasn't all that unreasonable given what computer time cost back then…
Most computer use was batch processing via submitted punch card decks in any event.]

When a was younger, a kid, I first saw a game that my dad was playing on one of those old big what box screens.
The game was "Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun" other than that I remember the thief series he played. (not going to mention Doom)
I was around 6at the time. I was not able to play on my own or any game until I was 13, only then did my dad give me his old PC as he bought himself a new one.
Thus the journey of love for games continues...
