I built this pc about a year ago and im planning on upgrading it soon.
My budget is $500. If I had to spend any more than that Id rather just build a new pc.
Thanks <3
P.S. Its a gaming PC incase you didnt know.

Ren3DMYou can upgrade your GPU to a gtx 1070 if you don't want to build an Intel system. But, the cpu might bottleneck the 1070.

I agree with everything he said both intel upgrade wise OR with just getting a 1070 however I would also recommend that if you go the 1070 route you look at possibly upping your RAM to at least 16gb. My girlfiend is currently using your same CPU and she is able to still run a lot of newer games pretty flawlessly on just the 970 alone so I am excited to see what a 1070 or even just a 1060 might do for hers.

I have same CPU, and a GTX 1080, and I get hundreds of FPS. I do really need to upgrade my CPU and RAM tho
