Whats the best version of minecraft that you played before

That's a tough one.
I first played Minecraft on a Java Edition PC, but I spawned in the middle of an ocean and didn't know any of the controls, so i just kept drowning over and over again. To put it short, I didn't enjoy it very much.
Two years later, I started playing Minecraft on a tablet. Pocket Edition has visual controls, so it was much easier to play and I actually defeated the Ender Dragon after a few months of playing!
Now, I play on a Nintendo Switch, and the controls are easy as they've ever been. I still like the tablet though.
