Acts Chapter 20 Verse 35
Acts Chapter 20 Verse 35 "'I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive"'"
This scripture means that we need to support others that need us. Always read the bible.

Why read the bible when you can read the Torah or Quran instead?
They all say read the "bible" (their own) and that god is real. What makes crhistianity more believable than Islam, Judaism, or any other religion
Also the people in power who read or preach the bible often do the opposite of what they say (Crusades or Nazi Germany anyone?)

I've had personal experience with the Christian God and bible which sealed the deal for me, and personal experience is one of the main factors in religious practice, but christian thinkers have discussed many different objective reasons as to why our bible is more believable than others, such as historical accuracy, structural harmony, prophetic fulfillment and more.
Also, fyi, the Torah is included in the christian bible as its first five books (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy). Overall the Old Testaments are relatively similar across Christianity, Judaism and Islam, but amongst all divergencies the most critical are in regards to the figure of Jesus of Nazareth (Son of God, false prophet, true prophet but not Son of God respectively across the 3) and the figure of Muhammad.
Many christian preachers do what the bible say, many others don't, just as many doctors do what's healthy and seek to cure others, and many doctors are unhealthy and exploit patients for money, and just as many scientists practice science correctly to benefit humanity, and many others use it maliciously (such as biologists and anthropologists during Imperialism that twisted evolutionary theory to justify racism and genocide).
