I am going to admit something...
Most of you think, because I am a brony that I listen to songs that are all peaceful like sunshine lollypops. Yes, music stuff... Also think by the way I act I'm a big pansy and a troll... Well actually...
Heres my admission, I listen to hardcore rock, wow. What a big weight to get off my shoulder.

Not really hardcore, but it's a start :3
As a fellow metalhead, I recommend Megadeth, Metallica, PanterA, AC/DC and Slayer. You might not like Slayer, because their lyrics are about as harcore as you can get without bordering mindless noise. Megadeth have their own unique, awesome sound that cannot be matched.

... not true. I love hardcore rock. And old 70's acid rock. And pretty much anything except death metal... which is way too screamy for me.

I remember when rock was all Elvis... Well I don't... But I wish I did! I remember Michael Jackson rock.
But I don't listen to Deathmetal I listen to normal metal and Tenacious D which is it's own section 'cus it's so awesome!
