Hello my fellow PMCers. I just wanted to warn you about something going on at the game, ‘Among Us’, in case you play or didn’t know.
Recently, Among Us has gotten hacked by a hacker named Eris Loris. Loris has been hacking Among Us and threatening to wipe your device if you don’t subscribe to his/her YouTube channel. Many people have gotten hacked by Loris, and the Among Us developers are working hard to get rid of Loris. Eris Loris has ‘hired’ many recruits that help him spam chat across multiple Among Us servers. Please just watch out for Loris and his hackers, and stay safe in Among Us and please, for your safety, don’t play on public servers until the devs have fixed the problem.

im pretty sure its been fixed, because they now have a anti hack system. its not the best, and theyve said it, so if you randomly get banned from a server for hacking and youre not, thats why.

Eris Loris can't hack you, hasn't hired anyone, and isn't actually responsible for any of the code used. He is a script kiddie (a nobody who tries to seem cool or powerful by using tools other people made) and the only thing he has done is set up a spambot to repeat his message constantly in whatever public servers it can join. There was no account verification or anticheat in Among Us (due to the effort it would take to program and the performance hit for the servers) so you can literally do anything possible for a player at any time with easily-available programs.
Again, he can do nothing but say things in chat. He can't hack your email, he can't hack your bank info, he can't hack your computer.
Until Among Us gets some basic anti-cheat set up, just stay in private matches or jump around to avoid the spambot.
