[Poll] Anti-Viruses!
What is a AntiVirus?
If you dont know what a AntiVirus is this is what you must do:
1) Unplug your computer
2) Punch your moniter
3) Pick up your computer
4) Go to the nearest windows are carefully dispoce of it
Then proudly say! "Im to dumb for that ol' thing!
But Honestly
Antivirus software is a computer program that detects, prevents, and takes action to disarm or remove malicious software programs, such as viruses and worms. You can help protect your computer against viruses by using antivirus software, such as AVG.
Computer viruses are software programs that are deliberately designed to interfere with computer operation; record, corrupt, or delete data; or spread themselves to other computers and throughout the Internet.
To help prevent the most current viruses, you must update your antivirus software regularly. You can set up most types of antivirus software to update automatically.
I'd like to hear your Opinions!
I Have made a poll, please use it. Also comment on why/how you like your AntiVirus(es)

It stops normal functions of your system that appear modified.

McAfee, because my parents decided I should have it. I also hasn't done anything wrong to me, nor have I ever had a virus.
Nice multiple choice which totally isn't biased because OP doesn't want to add an option because they don't like it. Not accepting others opinions thus makes your own invalid to me.

NONE OF THE ABOVE, use Trend Micro, that's THE BEST

Have to go with Microsoft Security Essentials on this one. Not only does it work well at detecting keyloggers and trojans, but it has very low memory usage.

Yeah, i forgot to add MSE
1
Haha who registered 8 accounts and voted for Norton? trololololololololoooo

Microsoft Security Essentials.

I had kapersky installed automatically on my pc, not active but it just being open nt active KILLED my Internet nothing worked with it open.
I use MSE I used Avast! For a while that was pretty good but it's a tad expensive when MSE is free.

Your Question what is your Favorite anti virus program, not what is the best program in this list.
My favorite is just McAffee Because it works perfect for me. And lets don't forget downloading gives always a risk.

WTH put Norton out of that list, its a Virus! (At least scamware haha)
MSE should everyone install, it can coexist due the fact that it does not mutch but gives MS the possibility to stob botnets. In addition to that i am a Avast Free Antivirus User, but for corporate & business i really like Kaspersky. (It has nice tools for the rollout to multiple clients )

Id recommend MBAM or MSE,
but if i had to select one, MSE(Microsoft Security Essentials), Its Free and comes from the people that designed your OS.
Norton is a scam
its firewall incredibly decreases speed of your machine.
(Covered up Media Fact: in 2008, Norton paid hackers to design viruses so people would buy their product,
POSSIBLE THEORY: Conflicker virus, Later became rumored government owned.
Confirmation about government owned: Plausible, i noticed one day norton go was Seeped into my system hidden, not to mention their remote control feature, im pretty sure they could develop something to lock your machine.)
Edit:
im pretty sure AVG was rumored/Tested/Verified as false detection(Personal Experience along with this: My programs were detected as viruses)
Ive heard Kaspersky out there(As it was the best of 2012) along with avast doing a good job.
