Any Linux users around?
My setup is Win10/Manjaro KDE dual boot btw.
I've been using Windows really often lately since KDE's scrolling isn't fast enough to satisfy me.

I have a dual-boot system with Windows 10 and ElementaryOS (Ubuntu-based). I only use Windows for games that are not supported on the Linux platform, other than that I'm almost always on Linux.

What about the Steam Proton?

I only have one game in my Steam library, the others are things like The Sims which have their own launcher.

Any comments about Linux Mint? I am thinking of converting to a new system. Linux mint seems very promising.

Thanks for your answer. It's a good thing that you mentioned low-end PC's. I happen to have not the best metal on the market.
I guess now I will look into Mint MATE.

What's the point of having different desktops then? Customization preferences?

I recommend Arch based distros because you will get the benefit of having all the latest updates. Most AUR packages needs to be compiled though. The compiling process is a pain in the butt especially with GZDooM.

I actually heard from other Linux users that not all games work well in terms of performance on the system.
I do know however that Minecraft works like magic on the system.
True?

Yeah, Minecraft works just fine on any Linux distros. Forge even boot up faster than on Windows
