Definitely creative for me

I mean … I make a lot of maps in creative, but I find survival building to be more relaxing in a way.

Survival, it's a challenge to gather all the materials and build it and you feel great satisfaction when it is done.

though I mostly play and build on survival, I still prefer creative to build, as it has that one thing: unlimited materials

Survival.
I use creative mode for prototyping (commands and structure blocks are most helpful), but for 3D modeling prefer a dedicated program (Sketch-up or one of the free-under-GNU alternatives).

On the gripping hand, getting out from under the resource grind is a large part of what I enjoy about survival…

Creative, definitely. While I understand the appeal of survival building, I just dont have the patience to achieve anything in it

i hate creepers destroying my stuff so I play in creative (^v^). plus I sometimes suck at fighting monsters :(

I used to build a lot in survival until I grew tired of collecting all the ressources and since then I am a creative builder ^^

Survival because it feels like you've earned everything you've built, and it sort of has more of a purpose.

Creative is just so much easier for me, survival is fun, but not when you're building a castle comprised of more than a million stone brick alone. :P
