Currently the temperature in my town is 57 degrees, but last Christmas was literally 80 degrees. Winter is definitely not as cold as you guys', but it can get fairly cold in January and early February. There is a saying down here that goes: "If you don't like the weather, wait an hour." Days can start off beautiful, but a storm can roll in very quickly. It also very rarely snows in winter, and if it does, it is very little. For us, the seasons are not as distinct from each other as those in the north. We simply have a 'wet season' (fall and winter) and a 'dry season' (late spring and summer).
