Brown Stain on XBOX 360 Disc?
Earlier this year, I bought LEGO Batman 2, and I haven't played it for months. Today, I decided to go on it, but when I opened the box, on the shiny side of the disc there is a brown stain on the outside of the disc.
I have no idea where this came from, but it looks like someone spilled tea on it or something. As I said, it hasn't been used for months.
When I put it in the console, and load the game up a message pops up saying "disc is unreadable."
Does anybody know what this is? And can it be fixed?

Time to buy a new disk.
That doesn't look like what's on my disc.

The problem is probably either the disk has rotten, or someone has spilled or scratched the disk therefore the disk can not be processed in the console properly.

The problem is... Someone at the manufacturing plant took a crap on your disk.
(Kidding, of course)
I'd honestly agree with Azie, wether it's disk rot or not. You need a new disk.

I'm gonna go to CeX or HMV in Hanley to get it looked at. If they can't do anything, I'll buy a new disk.

Like karrthus1 said; Please refrain from excreting solid waste onto your discs, if you continue to do so you will be fined 500$ and a possible 3 years in prison, for malicious destruction of video entertainment.
I actually have no idea what could cause that, sorry man.

It's called disc rot, and is what unfortunately killed my Sonic 06 disc, and that game is essentially on the endangered species list right now.

What I don't understand is my disc's problem looks nothing like any of the pictures on the internet. It's very light and doesn't look that brown. It's also quite a small stain.
How could air have gotten into its layers? It's been in the box for months.
