A "medion" basic gaming computer, cheap and good even after 7 years extensive use.

Mine was made by a company called: Komplett
It's a Norewgian computer / electronics company which started back in 1991 under the name: Norek. Later it was changed and they started building PC's and expanded to other nordic countries such as Sweden and Denmark :D

I have a Mac (specifically late 2015 macbook air), and it doesn't do well with anything graphically intense :(

Have you tried putting a Linux distribution on it? I recently I talked my friend into doing making the switch who had a 2012(?) Macbook and his frames jumped to 250+ without Optifine when we replaced MacOS on his computer with Ubuntu.

I probably would, but I'm looking at getting something better soon, so I don't really see the point.
Also, I have no idea how to do that lol, I'd be too afraid of messing something up.

There are lots of tutorials on Youtube that show the process, it's a lot easier than you think it is, it's basically:

  1. Download a Linux distribution
  2. Burn it into a CD or a flash drive
  3. Boot into a computer using a function key (like F1, F2, etc)
  4. Tell the computer to boot with the flash drive
  5. Click "Install Ubuntu" for example
  6. Profit
