If you can't build your own, the Alienware may very well be your best bet. I don't know a ton about specific prebuilt PCs...I've built all mine for the past...almost 8 years now.

I can't really build my own, but what PC do you recommend that has a better graphics card, but still around that same price?

Advice, part 1: If you can, build your own. My system cost me approximately $800, and that's WITH all the extra fun bits, like a shiny+glowy case and a liquid cooling system.
Advice, part 2: Get something that has an i5 processor, more RAM, a better graphics card, and possibly even a solid state drive. Your processor isn't going to be your bottleneck.

I dualboot into Ubuntu and run an Osx Lion virtual machine when I need to, but that isn't often. My machine generally runs as a fileserver for myself and my roomates, streaming music/movies/etc to everyone else. Also been know to boot up a private game server from time to time on it when we're having LAN parties, but we haven't had one in a while.

Just wait for AntVenom to come. He will kill us all...

Overpriced? I spent 1450$ on my computer with three monitors and some razor gear.

Basically: Messy desk, CDs everywhere, two big bass speakers itowering the midst of it, and a laptop slap bang in the middle.
