Win 11 is fine, works like win 10 so i have no problems with it, i do know for a fact that the first thing i will be doing is changing that taskbar alignment. I'm not a huge fan of the centered thing and the size of the OS. I do also like the new look for File Explorer it looks like i can actually manage all my files.

Microsoft in 2015: Windows 10 will be the last version of Windows.
Microsoft in 2021: nevermind.
Anyway, I like the update, but I seriously hope Microsoft updates the core UI so we won't have four generations of design languages, with one even dating back to Windows 95. This is the reason why I run Hackintosh (macOS in a Windows PC) in my computer, simply because the design in macOS feels consistent.
Also, I'm hoping for a new File Explorer design.

Windows XP was, and always will be, the king of operating systems.

XP and 7 were the best.

And 10 wouldn't be the last? I didn't even know it existed.

I think people who like Windows 10 will enjoy 11, but for people who prefer older Windows, it's more of the same.

I prefer old windows but I also like the fresh new design of the new one.

At this point, all I've heard about it so far is that is changes the toolbar and the window borders. Its just aesthetic, and nothing else. Once they start talking about what it can actually do as opposed to Windows 10 (or even Windows 7), will I be interested.
Of course, on the topic of aesthetics, I do have a couple of notes:
To be honest, though, I don't really care too much. I pretty much game on my Linux machine exclusively, and the only thing that will really bother me is if Microsoft pulls off something stupid like force everything to go through Windows store (thus, making it impossible to download and run applications on non-Windows machines, or even machines without a Microsoft account).
Of course, on the topic of aesthetics, I do have a couple of notes:
- Having everything on the toolbar aligned to a side is more efficient. That way, no matter how many apps you have opened, your start menu and pinned apps will always be on the same place on the screen. If we are aligning them centrally now, though, then everything will be shifting around as we open new apps, messing up that workflow. Granted, keyboard shortcuts won't change, so power users will likely be using those anyway, but it is something to consider for productivity.
- Technically, having the sidebar on the side of the screen would be more efficient, as we have more horizontal room than vertical room, so it would be better to use up the horizontal space instead for the sake of screen real-estate. Of course, the standard has been bottom of the screen for a few decades now, so that isn't going to really change (and honestly, one can probably move it themselves if it is something they are concerned about).
- I'm just not overly fond of the flat aesthetic Windows (and a lot of companies) have been taking recently since Windows 8. I just miss the Aero theming of Windows Vista/7.

What distro do you use?

Generally Ubuntu. I'm using it with the KDE Plasma desktop environment at the moment.

Try hosting the images through a image hostable site like imgpile and get the image's embed bb code
