Recently while messing with fallout i discovered the original fallout, a pixely 2d game, fascinated by this i began looking for more retro games and stumbled upon Elder scrolls arena and daggerfall, i began playing and was instantly hooked, i have only played skyrim aside from these two and was weighing my options. i decided i preferred daggerfall, i still play skyrim, but sometimes its good to trace back to games roots.
