my mom yells at me to get off

i play from about 3:10pm ( when school finishes ) 10:00pm (bedtime) about 8 hours including like dinner & food stoof. i take forever to eat .-..

on weekends.... jesus.... about 12-1pm to 2-3am :3 but teachers say i should get atleast 10 hours sleep. i do :3 i go to bed at 2-3am and wake up at 12-1pm.. thats about 10-9 hours . i play for long periods of time & 60 hours in 2 weeks i dont things is all that bad. thats like 2 and a half days out of 14.

I spend my whole weekend on dis thingy,you cant top that.
And about 9-10-11-12-13-14? hours maybe on school days.

I normally clock in at 40 hours of gaming a week including weekends XD

SnookieBookieOkay so two weeks ago I bought Garrys Mod. And I've played about 62 hours already. My parents want me to take time off the PC. Although I'm very active, I hang out with my friends a lot. I don't know if 62 hours is a bad or not. I'm playing on my new PC that I got in June, and I've honestly played so much on this PC. Is it to much, am I a huge geek?

Nah, you'd be surprised at how long some people play, on PC.

To be honest I play the laptop like around the entire week till like 8:00 AM till 12:00 PM so you are not alone

I think nearly 9 hours a day is a little bit too much... But this depends massively on your age, school work etc.

If I'm on the computer for more than an hour a day my mom or dad says I'm on too much If you are playing more than four hours a day, I think that's too much. But under that is fine, I think.

Compared to me you probably can't even be called a gamer xD I play atleast 17 hours a day the only reason its not 24 hours a day is because i need sleep. I play all day on minecraft/TF2/gmod/kerbalspaceprogram/half life/battlefield(all of them)/Need for speed(all of them)/ Online games/ Battle Forge/ Perfect World/.... And if i'm not gaming i'm atleast on my pc watching anime or youtube vids. really mate your NOT ALONE. Bro fist.

Your parents are going to kill you. They will punch you in the face and throw you on the ground. Then they will pour gasoline on you laptop and set it on fire. THEN they will get a wrecking ball and destroy your computer, and then blow it up with C4s.

But anyways, just don't worry. As long as if you don't play for at least 4 hours a day straight, you'll be fine. Now, I've seen people play a whole 24 hours on a PC, and maybe even more, because of how much they're addicted. Don't let this happen to you too.

Anyways, I probably spend a total of 7-10 hours a day gaming (On weekends), and I'm an A student in school with a bunch of friends.

That's approximately 15.5% of your whole two weeks spent sitting in front on the computer!

You should probably schedule your day by going a few hours outside and a few hours on the computer or watching TV. That would probably help alot.

You do realize that when you're playing any game you're still playing the game of life whilst playing that game... It's only when the game is deep that we lose consciousness of the real world in it droops into our subconscious... then we feel like we're in the game... or just seeing it... and it's really weird O_o
