Thanks for all the amazing suggestions, guys!

The Enemy by Charlie Higson (this is the name of the first book and the series)
Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy
The Power of Five by Anthony Horowitz
Hunger Games (I prefer the book, the films pacing is too fast)
Gone by Michael Grant (like the enemy, gone is the first book and series name)
That's all I can think of.

I'm pretty bored, too. Not sure what I want to read. But I recommend "The Marble Faun" by Nathaniel Hawthorne, if you haven't read that yet. It might seem boring to you.
Also "Ivanhoe" is a pretty good book about some knights, outlaws, fair maidens and the like, set in the reign of Richard I of England. It is by Sir Walter Scott.
I've got tons of others but I'll just say the Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis, the three books being called "Out of the Silent Planet", "Perelandra", and "That Hideous Strength". I only own the first one, but I can't wait to read the others. My older sisters say they are good.

I am not sure if anyone is interested in older books, but I know that when I read 1984 and Brave New World, they knocked my socks right off.

Looking at what books others suggested, and your responses to those, you appear to have a similar book taste to my own. I therefore very highly advise that you read "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. Easily my favorite book ever written.

If you haven't read "The Dark Knight Returns," you should do so. It's a graphic novel, but one of the best ever.

The Dark Tower series by Steven King
A little more mature, but anything you read afterwards will be a disappointment. It's that good.
Also the Enderverse series

I've been making my way through The Dark Tower series by Steven King on audiobook. Audiobooks seemed like a good way to spend my 40 minutes to work and 40 minutes home every day.
Anyways, been working through this series for the past couple of months. I did not expect such a deep and thought provoking story. Although it is Steven King, so it is sick and twisted at times. Would not advise for younger audiences.
