My friend and I have started this makeshift 'company', if you want to call it that. We are going to progressively make bigger games, starting with the smallest games. We lack experience in some areas (listed below) and were wondering if anyone wanted to join us on our journey. We are starting out making small choose your own adventure games and submitting them to Choice of Games, seeing if they could possibly host them, (they have a program thing for writers) for experience. Soon we'll start on small flash games and work our way up.
Currently our small team we have the most experience in these fields: coding/programming and story design.
Most needed roles: Visual, Musical, and we always need more pure coding people

If you are interested in making games with us here is the application:
Name:
Age: age doesn't matter much
Field(s): list all that you feel apply

I could see what I could do Visual wise. I'm still learning more about art mostly anatomy and composition from some of the best artists in the movie/game industries. I just have to make some more pieces for my portfolio. I do have two gesture art sketches on my DA if you would like to see.

I would like to join, although I would also like to see more information regarding the project on the source post.

Could you be more specific on exactly what it is you're thinking of creating?

KingTipSorry @Ab Aeterno, . I know a little not so well known game that was made with Java. You might not have heard of it, but it's called Minecraft.

If it is little and not so well known, how has he heard of it?
anyways, java isn't really the "BEST" programming language to create a game with,
as it was not intended to be a game creator, but unity was created for that reason.

Sorry @Ab Aeterno, our past encounters with unity have been, well, sub-par. Our team is much more accustomed to working out the bare code, line by line.
Also you mentioned that we might be wasting our time with Java and C++, I know a little not so well known game that was made with Java. You might not have heard of it, but it's called Minecraft.

(also I'm pretty sure CEOs should know how to correctly say PC. It stands for Personal Computer, not Personal and Computer)

If you guys use Java and C++ and you plan on starting out on P&C games then you are probably wasting your time. I'd recommend grabbing a copy of Unity (you can get Unity 5 Personal Edition for free now), and learning the ropes with that. It'll let you build much more powerful games.

Also, I am the CEO of the Lacuna Corporation, and we released the official trailer for our first ever game today. You can check it out here to see what you can do in Unity. Please bear in mind that we made this in under 2 months, and did everything from scratch.

I hate to seem harsh, but it's extremely unlikely you have an IQ of 130 at the age of 9.

Einstein had an IQ of 160, and even then, only 1% of the population ever had an IQ above 135, ever.

Anyways, I can't help out in the "business", but I wish you luck on it.
