Hey guys!
I've been wanting a new computer for a long time (Desktop). I would like to play on medium-high settings. I would also like it to record with a good frame rate, like 60 FPS. I will be playing games like
o Dead space 1, 2. and 3
o The Walking Dead
O Dead Island
o Tomb Raider
ect....
so please, post below what you think!
Also, dont need a monitor or mouse or keyboard.
That is all. Good day

Does the sound of a split Hard Drive Hackentosh sound good to anyone?

You'll be needing an OS. I'd recommend win7. But seems decent, ssd would help. In the future you could possibly get 16gb ram.

RAM is effective on any system, but once you reach a bottleneck somewhere it's not going to help to keep adding more/upgrading RAM speed.

Hey Dohvakiin. That computer should get you above 60FPS on High Settings. I run a computer store that does custom computers and several other nick nacks. I think you'd be making a good decision by building that computer. Have fun!

Looks really nice for your listed purposes. I don't know if you live near one, but Micro Center generally has cheaper prices than Newegg or Tiger Direct. The only downside is that you have to pick up your order.

Great! Unfortunately, I don't live near a Micro Center.

Hello brother.

Who would pay 2000$ for RAM though?

I'm looking for a desktop Plus, Im already building one

You should get 192GB of Ram.
1
Is that even possible ?
1
Yes but it computer would run like shit because it can't handle that much

Why does everyone think RAM is the answer to everything? RAM is only really effective on Mac's 'cause that's the only thing you can really upgrade on them. GPU is what is really necessary for gaming.

I'm afraid it is. http://bit.ly/111Jpww

Any computer is good.
Heck, I'm on a windows 8 with freaking greatness.
WINDOWS. 8. The terriblest OS in the history of computers.
Here is a REEEALLY good assumption.
Don't get Windows Millennium no matter the situation.

Good, you might want to consider getting a 120GB of 240GB ssd, with ssd your computer will start up within 20 seconds, and you could put your games on there ( Not all as its simply too less storage but some games might run faster on ssd's ).

All right, thanks
Ive already heard about dear Windows 8 my friend...Please excuse me while i get my hammer to savagely beat any windows 8 computer i find.
