Wow, Minecraft Is differently not dead!
3
It's 100% lost at least some popularity over the years but I highly doubt it's ever going to die.

No it isn't, the thing is that the amount of chatting on servers have lowered dramatically. But that doesn't mean that minecraft is dying. Let's rewind a few years when many players talked in chat and it was more common. We didn't really have many places to talk in. Having minecraft forums is great considering its all about minecraft and people can talk about it and yea, but that didn't exist. Discord and Skype didn't exist either, so talking in game was happening around 95% of the time. Now we have discord and Skype including many other places to talk in have appeared to the world, talking outside of minecraft is easier for most. Thats why using messaging commands in minecraft were so useful and reliable. Minecraft is the most viewed game and is available on most platforms. Mojang supporting more platforms means people are using different ones at once. Also, now mcpe updates have caught up with java updates and has become bedrock. Bedrock now supports a few different platforms compatible with eachover. Now windows 10 already has minecraft on it and has a free trial. However, if u have already purchased minecraft java edition then u get a code to have the full game free. Bedrock is now adding java update features slowly making it possible to have those features early. Where on java in snapshots eventually leading to the full release. Interactive places to talk in are reducing the number of players playing minecraft at once. Now people are spending time talking outside minecraft rather than inside. I honestly disagree with many people's opinions but I am thinking of their reasons in a way that makes proper sense. Fortnite isn't the most popular game YET, it has just gotten popular the fasted but it really isn't the most popular. Minecraft still covers way more of youtube than fortnite does (the apparent most popular game). SO is minecraft dying? NO it isn't!

still has more monthly players than fortnite, so I think that's a win.

Minecraft is not dying. Now yes, its not as popular as it was in 2013/14. I think the game is WAY better than it was like 5 or 6 years ago. I don't know how people played the game back then.
Minecraft is not dead. LOCKED. -brifly34

If you think about it, everything in existence is slowly dying...
So yeah, minecraft’s dying, but it probably won’t officially “die” for some time yet.

People filter in, People filter out.
It works like a repeating loop, though it isn't as big as it used to be that doesn't mean it'll die, so most likely no.

Well I don't think that Minecraft is dying.

Will THIS answer your question? Pyrocynical got about 4 mil subs on yt

It depends sadly I wished they still updated the <Xbox one edition> not the >Minecraft< which is the new xbox/ps4 edition. The >Minecraft< is a ios/samsung/windows 10 edition but put on to xbox/ps4 but 10x worse and just isnt the best I don't understand why they scraped the idea of xbox along side ps4 editions but Mojang/Microsoft will figure it out (Honestly who even owns minecraft now?)

i Dont really care about if java is dying or whatever i love java never switching
3
It's dying, at a very, very slow rate. In a few years, I expect, it'll reach around a few thousand daily players. PC edition, I mean.
4
People are moving to bedrock
4
Java is slowing down, while all the other ones are picking up speed.
3
Nope.

I love how he edited the post when it used to say "Is minecraft Dyeing?" lol, fair tho the number of "yeah i dye wool a lot" gets old.
4
I don’t think so. I still see a decent amount of people playing on the external servers.
3
It's gone a bit off the boil but I wouldn't say its dying. Minecraft still has a dedicated community and has done for years, it more than likely will continue to do so for a long time yet
3
Yes, its turning so colourful!
Jokes aside, sadly the Java version is currently dying, which is really really unfortunate. However the Bedrock Edition of the game is really popular, well.. among younger people.
Although the multiplayer communities on the Javaversion might seem like they're dying (Such as Hypixel), there are quite a few parts of the game which are really really active still. For example: Modded, SMP servers, builders, and the list goes on.

I wouldn't think so.

I'm gonna say no because, hypixel has 9200 players active rn. but there's it's more in the daytime than night.
also servers like cubecraft, the hive, and tons of other popular server probably have more than 1000 players online a day. I can't speak for the unpopular servers but most popular server have about 1000 players a day, and even higher than that sometimes. So no, I don't think minecraft is dying or is dead.

All games start dyeing after initial release, the fact that Minecraft has lasted so long is a feat on its own. It is dyeing sure, but its unfair to say this about Minecraft and not about all games. All games die a bit over time, but Minecraft has been on a slow burn for years now and is hardly dyeing. When you show me evidence of people not searching Minecraft as much, this can quickly be explained away by the fact that this game is 10 years old, no one is just searching Minecraft. They are searching for a forum, their favorite Minecraft Youtuber, or a skin editor. If you think about it, everything is dyeing.....

Minecraft still has a lot of players. It continues to be one of the most popular games ever made.
I could see you thinking that the Minecraft community is dying due to the horrible parodies, intros, too many let's plays from kids trying to be like popular YouTubers, and servers being full of toxic players. But look on the bright side, not all Minecraft videos are cringy, People still pour their creativity into Minecraft, Minecraft is still getting updates from Mojang, and there are still communities that are still good (like PMC). So in other words, Minecraft ain't dying anytime soon.
