I mean, ethical? Sure... A good idea? Eh, that's totally dependent on grades, situation, time, and other factors.

I use it sometimes, it counts as art and coding so the teachers don't care that we use it

If you mean by lessons, then no. Focus on school
If on break and you don't have any exams or no low grade issues, then it should be fine. But not much, try to use the break better like bathroom or friends
Low grade issues are not funny, you should focus on the education. I have some friends, who ignored their learning and it is now a problem, struggle with basics and it is getting harder
BTW remember that some schools have a policy regarding phone or wifi usage, so be careful
