There are already a couple of topics about this subject, and this one is slightly out of hand with the cursing and insults even though they aren't really directed at people.

First off, the definition of "Gay" is happy. People need to understand that what they think is "gay" is happy. If they would like to say that someone is what they think "gay" is they need to stay Homosexual. It's the correct term that should be used. People misuse this word WAY to much. It's sad to see these older people using words incorrectly. This is horrible. And that fact that you are also playing Minecraft in the same case scenario, what makes them homosexual and you any different? Nothing. You really shouldn't take this as an insult. Take it as.. Wow they must be really stupid.

I would like to say, this is the internet, trolling has been since the beginning of the interweb it used to be called flaming.

Honestly, being called gay nowadays holds as much weight as being called stupid by someone that is too lazy to take less then 1 second to spell you properly, and i would just like to say, if you cannot deal with trolling or flaming, block those morons or get the heck out, and as for cyber-bullying there are a multiple of ways to prevent it,(i.e block the user, report comments, flag videos.etc) and if it is bullying in real life then extends to the internet then it is just an extension of bullying in real life. well just sorted out half the comments here.

Yeah, cyber-bulling is one of the worst ways to bully. In my opinion. All of the gay calling should be ended online. I just hate it.

I'm 11 years old and the most mature person I know. Gay is no insult, being gay isn't disgusting in any way. Half of the people who say people are gay more than likely don't have a proper grade 6 education.

Don't use the word homosexual, the majority of kids who call themselves gay, prefer to be called gay than homosexual. This is the findings of a recent survey.

Theres a 10 year old on my server and hes EPIC and more mature and smarter then all the older guys and he was joking around and someone said "Shut the f**k up you bit**" Then the kid said "Why should i jacka**?" And the guy said "Because noone wants to listen to a 10 yearold, There crapping idiots." I think it should stop.

Gay is in no way an insult. It's definition is 1. to be happy, or 2. someone who is attracted to someone of the same gender.
It isn't and insult, and anyone who thinks it is an insult is probably a homophobe.

homophobia is very common on the internet it isn't just kids who get called gay I was called gay many times on servers it seems to be how people say jerk nowadays.

Well, for the users that are actually 'mature'(As in older) have a wider variety of words. Besides, there are lots of nastier words that could be thrown about towards him, so gay seems perfectly fine compared to those.
And we all know that gamers naturally say stuff. They don't usually realize, as they're entire body is in the game.
