Today I'm just looking for a nice friendly person around 11-14 that can play minecraft alot and will be my friend and play survival and skyblock with me

Actually, they don't have cyber safety classes. They just put in the longest way possible "don't talk to strangers". It's pathetic. Also, what kind of weirdo looks for friends... ON THE INTERNET?!?!?!?! Our world has gone insane!
They do have cyber saftey classes in my area. I thought it was just something that was done.

I think that we should all be careful of who we talk to, but alot of people look for friends on the internet... I'm pretty sure thats why alot of us are even here... Don't make yourself sound rude .-.

I don't think pedophiles and/or stalkers will be on planet minecraft. Just my personal opinion.

Dude... do you realize that almost any website can be a pedophile hotspot? Especially this one, which has many members that are not even teenagers yet.
Although, yes, registering onto the site requires some basic Minecraft knowledge, that is all there is to security. Even more frightening is that a pedophile could just go to the Minecraft wiki and seach up what ores are in the game and stuff.
So please, open your eyes, since the Internet is a perverted, barren wasteland with the occasional spam tumbleweed.

I see your point but on a site called PlanetMinecraft it's probably not that deadly. Plus most people will block anyone who lies about there age instantly.

Don't be so sure. Our site stays friendly for the most part because we're pretty quick when we moderate. There's plenty of bad people that have come through here, but not a lot of people know about it because the situation gets nipped in the bud so quickly.
Everyone, regardless of the site they're on (whether it's E-Harmony, Ebay, or Neopets), should guard their personal information closely especially if they're very young.

The way I see it Planet Minecraft is the sort of place someone like that would be. I think they would assume that kids play minecraft so there would be kids here and there are
