i mean that when i log on to minecraft it is still on 1.7.3 and the date is sept.12 ok and i want help NOW!!!!!!!(note:i wrote in cave moics in the title ok)

You have to download the jar file and replace your 1.7.3 jar with the 1.8 jar and if there are any problems, they have posted tutorial videos on youtube that will help you.
