Isn't this post kind of biased though? After all, you're posting it on a site for Minecraft.

I'm gonna be THAT person.
Terraria. :)
Terraria. :)

I've heard some cool stuff about terraria, but I've never played it...
2
you'll have to spend hours and hours reading tutorials and wikis, believe me, but it still a masterpiece for me
2
Terraria is pretty amazing. (I don't play it anymore though)
2
All games are great, roblox's community is bad, the game otherwise is still completely fine.
2
i tried roblox once... its boring and it sucks
2
Minecraft - Because while Terraria is fun, and Roblox being great for kids, Minecraft has something those two games don't: You can easily create what you wish for, there are no limits to what you can create!
2
Roblox is not the best game for children, just search some roblox kid things and you'll see!

Roblox has more creative options but is harder to make things. Plus, Roblox only has a handful of popular games.

Whatever you can make in Roblox, can be made in Minecraft. And if the option isn't there, there's mods that can do the same as Roblox.
Again: " You can easily create what you wish for, there are no limits to what you can create! "

Definitely Minecraft for me, so many mods to add anything you can imagine. Also, I just see Roblox as a sad cross between LEGO and MC, sorry Roblox fans.
2
I just wanted to mention this, but there was actually a guy on MCForums who suggested that minecraft and roblox should merge.
2
I know, I was so horrified when I saw it!
1
WHY! They are so different. Roblox is a game engine/game publishing softwear that for people who don't want to deal with a true game engine and true publishing. Minecraft is a blocky suvival simulator that can not be used as a game engine (unless you want to recode the minecraft source code with a mod).
2
Roblox was first though...
But recent roblox, yeah...
But recent roblox, yeah...

I like how terraria is full of content without mods, but in the other hand, I like how minecraft is more endless and limitless, hmmm, but I'm a little bit bored of it although I NEVER finished survival (dragon), that's why I'm working on a mod that revamps minecraft and ads interesting things to it, to make the game's potential even bigger, but for now, I pick terraria
2
Lol no one chooses Roblox.
2
YEAH!
2
I swear if someone chooses Roblox they need to be banned from PMC. (JOKING)
1
I should've chosen it just to spite you.

XD

They are all great games. But I would have to choose Minecraft.
Reasons:
Terraria is hard... I've tried it when it was hard.
Roblox is not acually a game, it is a game engine/game publisher hybrid that people who don't want to deal with real game engines or the difficulty of publishing (Mostly Steam, as retail is near imposible. Steam has became a bit easier, as you don't have to have people citizise your unfinished game anymore).
Minecraft has the ability to easily create what you want. Even though Roblox has more creative options, it is hard to make them as the engine (Roblox Studio) is not as advance as other, more popular game engines.

after all minecraft is the game godfather :D
2
Roblox came first.

I never knew this would be such a popular post! :D

I've played both terraria and minecraft. In my opinion I like MC better because it feels more creative, where the 2d style of terraria doesn't give it the same creative ability that minecraft has, plus there's no creative. However I really love terraria's survival, and if I was more into that type of thing I'd defintely pick terraria. As for roblox, I only played it once. It was boring, laggy, and you couldn't get anything worth getting without paying.

True!

Roblox has one vote? lol. Understandable though. I'd play Minecraft. Though I've hear Terraria is pretty fun. What are peoples opinion on single player worlds versus public servers?
1
I don't play on to lox servers, they're cancerous!
I just play around and blow stuff up!
I only do that maybe once every 6 months!

What about Starbound? I like Minecraft because there's creative, I play Terraria occasionally, but I will never touch Roblox, not even with a ten-foot pole.
2
I haven't tried starbound, although its on my steam wishlist
3
It's pretty fun, has a nice story line, and is easy to mod if you want to.
1
it sounds pretty fun, I just didn't put it here because I haven't tried it and idk if it fits in with these games
2
I haven't played roblox for like 9 months...

What about an eleven-foot pole

still no
