Miner Wars (Minecraft in space?)
Miner Wars is a violent (and awesome) game set in space. The world you play in is infinite (Yep, bigger than the world of minecraft). It is still in alpha but will probably be a big seller One thing you can do is to find comets that you then can either drill into, or use its purpose-built missiles and build cool bases in them, Or collect minerals or why not plan an ambush?
The game costs about $10 but then you get all future versions and there are lots of legal ways to get the game for free!
You can of course check it out at:

Enjoy

I got an extra copy, got it for free as a matter of fact plus I need a lot more clicks to get the free one from the referral link, however, if you want it you can talk to me on steam @thelastlambda. I might be able to arrange something.

That ?aid=4328 is an affiliate tracking id. Linus371, do you get a free copy for referring so many purchases? I'm guessing the creators saw the success of Minecraft and made their marketing strategy around it. Selling for $10, pre-Alpha. That plus independent development & "miner" makes us potential buyers. I'm tempted to remove this thread since it really has nothing to do with Minecraft but I support independent development and can't really fault them on taking a page out of the Word of Notch =). They provide enough info for us to make a decision to buy or not to buy. In my opinion, the game has potential but pre-alpha is too early for this game or their video doesn't do it justice. I don't see anything really wrong with this post in the "Everything Else" forum unless there's any indication of shadiness or game development being dropped. It just looks like an independent developer trying to get their game off the ground.

Do players get referral points or something? I keep seeing advertisements for miner wars in every minecraft forum I visit. THe game is an FPS and doesn't look like it has any freebuild aspects at all.
