I tried watching the first series but got bored and stopped watching it XD

Pokemon the anime is aweful now, and it's aweful because:

Ash: Alright, lets get em pikachu!
Pikachu: Pika Pika!
(Loses Pokemon League)
Ash: It's OK, we'll win next season for sure!
Pikachu: Pika Pika!
(Loses Pokemon League next season)

Several people talked about it a few pages back, I honestly didn't like it though. I felt like it was shocking just for the sake of being shocking and if you removed the gore/sexual aspects you wouldn't have much left. And yeah I saw all of it lol.

I'd like to know how Elfen Lied, Kill la Kill, Another, SnK, Deadman Wonderland, Death Note, Steins:Gate, Psycho-Pass, Danganronpa and Akame Ga Kill are for babies.
Anyway, never seen Detective Conan, might give it a watch.

Seriously though, almost every single anime has vulgar language in it, at least in the original Japanese versions. I would never show most anime to a child under at least 10.

Detective Conan may be brilliant, but there are other brilliant animes too.

Detective Conan is anime, and it's pretty high up there of things to watch.

Code Geass and Madoka Magica are sitting on the shelf just below Cowboy Bebop. They were almost as brilliant, but not quite. I think it was because Madoka had a really unsatisfying ending to Rebellion, and Code Geass had very minor problems which I didn't find in Bebop.

That said, I agree that it's really difficult to find something with such an impact on you as Code Geass. Death Note was pretty close to that effect, but fell short. I will get round to Clannad after I finish exams.

Death Note and Angel Beats! are great anime, I haven't seen Another, 5cm, or Sukitte. SAO is kinda crap, to be honest. The story is just boring. Then again, the animation is awesome, and the fight scenes are really cool.

Tokyo Ghoul, on the other hand, was pretty average, and you should DEFINITELY read the manga if you're interested in it. There are many anime which are better or equal to the manga, but Tokyo Ghoul's manga is just so much better.


Not trying to insult anyone's favourite anime, because I understand why you'd enjoy them, and I won't take that away from you, but I just don't understand where all the love for SAO comes from. I mean, maybe I'm the only one who cares about the story. SAO is meh. There are two types of people who've watched SAO. Those who love it, and those who didn't enjoy it.
