So, I have a developer question, regarding server-sided web developing.
Due to the fact that I've been working with mainly JavaScript the past few months, I've gained a liking to it. I'd like to incorporate a server-sided option into my websites for things such as MySQL. I've also been working with PHP the past few years and it's pretty good. But due to criticism of PHP, I was thinking of using NodeJS as an alternative. But that's my question... Is it even logical to use NodeJS as an alternative? Or could I possibly use the two together (is this even logical either?)... Maybe an example of PHP and NodeJS working together might be handy.
Short question: Is NodeJS a good replacement for PHP, or can I incorporate them both together?
