Hey guys, I was working on a project on my server and ran into an issue.

My server has "Essentials", preventing firespread and fire from destroying blocks. However, when I try to decoratively light up a block, it is extinguish after a minute or so.

How can I have permanently burning fire without using netherrack, and still having the blocks protected?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: My mistake. The fire does remain, but only on the top of blocks. Is it possible to keep the fire on the sides of blocks as well?

I don't think you can make it stay on sides.
