JamenIntroduction

Hello there, fellow developers (or designer, by chance), I began a project a little bit back called PortJS, for a WebSocket utility that only spanned for JavaScript and NodeJS. But now, I'd like to take this open source project even further by supporting multiple web frameworks. But, before you consider joining I have a few things you might want to think about.

Notices

First off, PortJS is an open source and free service. You will not be paid for developing. This isn't a job, more so a community of developers that will create a service that's free. So if you're looking to get a some money, this is not the place. All money that's donated goes back to the production of PortJS. So, no money is to be made. Think of it as a fun project instead of a taskly job, and a way to meet new people.

Second point, anything you create (with your colleagues) will be licensed under Apache 2.0, no exceptions. This is to keep the project open source, free, and so other developers can add onto our creations.

My last notice is, any developer is accepted, as long as that language has a Web Framework... For instance, if you're a Ruby developer you'd be working in Ruby on Rails, if you're a Python developer, you'd be working in Django (or others), etc.
It would be really helpful if you had at least some knowledge in HTTP and the Web Framework of your language. But if not, we can compromise.

Possible Questions

What developers do you need again?
Any developers, whether it be Java, Ruby, Python... Anything

Who will I be working with?
Mostly people that are working in the same language as you. But not only that, you will be working with everyone on the PortJS project.

How do I get involved?
You can contact me via Skype (xerodev), this is where our group will be collaborating. Further platforms for communication will be given once you're apart of the team.

Where is this project help? How do I track progress?
GitHub is where we host our projects. You can visit us here.
