Profile banner changing?

so I saw someone'sprofile pretty recently and they had a custom banner on there profile and I wanted to know how this works so cold someone please explain it to me? Thanks ♡ for the help!

like thier cover photo?

go onto your profile, clikc "profile" click banner and you can upload one from there, it tells you the recommended dimensions for the image etc
