It's not illegal to re-sell your account. People do it with runescape all the time. HOWEVER, it is against the rules to sell something on these forums.

Was that if you're selling accounts you usually buy a giftcode for them at minecraft.net for someone else....
If you make your account on minecraft.net its actually free but buying beta isn't free.....
And since he has beta its still kinda illegal since he didn't make his accounts giftcodes ._.
And people who don't have the game will be paying HIM for it INSTEAD of MOJANG.
