Given the threads are marked well enough that those uninterested can easily avoid them, I don't see any harm to them.
The replies can be overly repetitive (particularly when a respondent hasn't rad the previous replies), but there are enough replies that are humorous/witty that the threads are usually worth the read. [Not that the reading usually takes more than a trivial amount of time. ]

I like them but they do get repetitive sometimes, I would say continue doing them but not as much as now
