Star Trek or Star Wars?

Which do you like more? Star Trek or Star Wars? If you would've asked me 5 years ago, I would have said Star Wars, but now that I've actually seen a lot of Trek, I'm pretty much a trekkie. Also, in my opinion, Star Wars has taken an... interesting turn... so I honestly I prefer Star Trek, that's not to say that I don't love Star Wars to death at times though.
(Also Star Wars was my childhood).

I prefer Star Trek, I like more the characters, the ships, the races, the antagonists, etc

I've never really been a fan of either one, I did go and watch The Last Jedi at the insistence of a friend of mine but it didn't really make much sense. That was the first Star Wars film I'd seen since the prequels (which put me to sleep)

star trek is so cool, its on at 19:00 on horror channel on weekdays, star wars is good but ive seen it loads of times

Star Wars (at least the very first three films) feel like a romanticized space fairy tale which I really like.
It's just about some guys going on a journey to kill the bad guy and find out it actually is Luke's father...

And there's nothing wrong with that. But you probably ought to watch some Trek just to have a good idea of where other people might be coming from. It's always good to at least understand the ideas behind someone else's argument.

I voted for Star Trek out of sheer preference. But honestly, I don't think there's any real comparison.
They're both good at what they do. Star Trek is about a future that we could have, where all races and peoples can come together to accomplish wonders. Star Wars is about an epic struggle between good and evil.
Both are good. I just happen to gravitate towards one a little more than the other.
