Switching from mac, to gaming pc
Hello everyone, I have had 1 mac computer and this is the one I am currently using it is the first computer that I have ever actually owned and is about 1 year old I've been wanting to get into hardcore gaming and other things, I want to know if any of you think it would be that hard of a transfer from a mac to a gaming pc, and no I'm not sure if it will be windows 10 or 9 (also feel free to call me an idiot for getting a mac)

If you really like OS-X, I would suggest you build a Hackintosh dual-booted with Windows and OS-X.
I don't like macintosh extremely but I don't hate it but I think I wanna try windows and ill see what I really think about the change

True, true but if your just lucky and maybe get a fairly good anti virus program then you'll probably be ok

What do you mean by "hardcore gaming"? It may be possible to save you some money, depending on the computer you have. Do you have a desktop (iMac, Mac Pro) or a laptop (Macbook, Macbook Air, Macbook Pro)? Depending on the computer you already have, you may want to consider just buying a copy of Windows 10 and installing it on your Mac (there's an application called Bootcamp that does it pretty much for you). This would save you money, but only if you're planning on playing a game like Minecraft or a game built on the Source Engine (or any other game that has low hardware requirements), because your computer is probably not going to be powerful enough to play the games you want to play on it at the settings you want to play on (for example, Battlefield 4 at maximum graphics).

I mean like serious gaming like for example take someone who has steam and has 3 or 4 games and plays every so often, the casual gamer but I want gaming to be a real hobby of mine and although I can work with it some things I don't enjoy on mac and also I have a macbook air with some razor headphones (most gaming thing I have) and a custom stand keyboard and mouse

Well, it will be a change for you, but I doubt it'll be hard.
Also there is no Windows 9, only 7, 8/8.1, and 10 are the ones out right now.
Do you plan on building it, or buying it?
