"God’s in His heaven, all’s right with the world!"

I believe in Jesus Christ, and I believe everything that the Bible says. It has everything one needs to know about God, and all we have to do is have blind faith and trust Him because of what we read in His Word

But what about the people who uses the blind faith of the people to commit evils and sins across the world? Why do they get away because they "follow" the teachings of Jesus? (Christianity in this case).

Amen 🙏🏾 👍🏾

I personally have my own beliefs or lack-there-of, but I do respect and understand other people's beliefs. In general, I believe there is a creator of everything, I just don't believe it's the Christianity version of God. I do believe there is an absolute being that is capable of the things that the God in Christianity does, but I just don't want to subjugate myself to a God others claim to be real. I'm currently doing my research on Theology and Mythology, comparing that to scientific and historical facts. So all in all, I'm not going to dismiss the whole idea of a God, but I just need to know if I'm believing in the right God.

Personally, I'm an agnostic atheist, which in short means that I don't believe in the existence of any god(s), but make no claims to have absolute knowledge / 100% certainty that there isn't. There may be, but I personally see no reason to believe that there is, so I don't.
I have no problem with religious people, or really religion even, especially when it boils down to one's own spiritual journey through life, and how that brings comfort to the one on that journey. I tend to only have a negative view on religion when the focus shifts away from it being about that personal, spiritual journey for the participant, and veers over into infringing on the lives / rights (or even beliefs) of other people unaffiliated with that particular set of beliefs.

I don't really believe in God, but I am aware Jesus was a real person. I respect all Christians, but if someone makes every little thing about religion or likes to force their beliefs on people, I prefer to stay far away from them. Or if somebody is hateful to minorities- doesn't The Bible say to "Love thy neighbor"? There are no exceptions. The Bible has some great teachings, I just don't really believe that the God mentioned in The Bible exists and created the Earth.

The most religious, do what jesus do, jesus love etc. people are the most rotten that you can meet. They spill hipocrisy and toxity, which is the opposite of what Jesus asked for

TBH for me all abrahamic beliefs have the same god, yet interpretate him differently: like here you have a more strict, here more friendly. I am also fine with the role of jesus like prophet, son of god or even historic character, however historic and religious characters should be separated in case of confussion, dramas - yes, people can do drama of anything.

No, I don't believe in God nor am I religious, but I don't spread hate or start arguments with people, if you believe in God whether your Christian or whatever. You do you I aint gonna stop you or bother you with my opinions and nor do you have to with me.

I believe in The Lord Jesus Christ. I'm also a Christian and yeah I believe everything in the Word, what is there not to believe really? 🙏🏾🫶🏾

preach brother

😊👍🏾

no

I believe that i don't know anything. I could spend my life believing there is a God or not, but what i believe to be the real truth is that i will never know.
And i do belive there is something, but the most important thing to belive in is yourself, because that is a given.

As UNNAMED mentioned, who or what is the god you're referring to?
Is it the God of the Christians, Jews and the muslims?
The greek/roman gods?
Nordic Gods?
Hindu?
Buddhism?
Ancient Egyptian?
Pagan?
In terms of Christianity, I find the religion too corrupted by "Christian Pharisees" throughout history, and god to have dubious existence at best thanks to the evils commited by people in the name of their god (in which the evils are much worse than new/old testaments).
E.g. America right now and religious nationalism
E.g. Islam and religious conflicts in Middle East/Africa

who's god?

This wasn't a thread I was expecting to see.
I'm a Christian, and based on your about page, I probably believe the same thing as you.
