What if we found other planets with life out there? In my opinion, that would be pretty awesome! Let me know what you think

Currently the closest planet to Earth, which is most likely to contain (or have contained) life is Mars. The current Mars Rover has recently picked up samples of rock finding clay or such things which require water to be created. But there is very few planets we know of with a near-definite chance of containing life. In terms of Astronomy and the universe nearly everything is at least possible. Dark matter is near definite in terms of existence.

Now, if we look at a planet in another solar system or galaxy, which was probable or definite for life, then we could travel there, as there is many possible routes of travel and ways to surpass the many dangers and effects that would deem human travel non-eventful. First, most people would think teleportation. As far as the legitimacy of exportation goes, you have to think about it this way "Teleportation is the departing of the atom compilation in your body and then recomposing those same atoms in a nother place". Morally speaking, teleportation is killing someone and bringing an identical version of them back, and that is wrong. But it is the most obvious, yet the least simple.

The two ways I would most likely see occuring is A) Wormhole travelling or B) Travel at speeds near or at light speed with cryogenic stasis or a system of people whom are to reproduce.

Let's start with a wormhole. Basically, a wormhole is a confusing bit of space, where you 'bend' the path of the universe to travel from one place to another, bypassing a section which, normally would be necessary to pass over. A famous example of how a wormhole works is when you fold a piece of paper in half, if you start at one corner, and fold it into the other corner, then you can travel, without having to go across the paper. That is essentially a wormhole. No one knows how, when or where a wormhole will occur but it is probably the safest and most reliable way of transporting people from one side of space to the other, also it is good in terms of time, as people can forget or issues may arise over time, causing the expedition to be lost.

The other, is cryostasis or a living society to reproduce. Cryostasis would require a lot of power and other human assistance, which would be painful, especially if a world disaster or event were to occur, i.e. WWIII. But would work, although the need for this info or a better craft could be designed on the travel and leave this ship rendered useless in the middle of space. Also the same thing would happen with a living society, but disease, differences and unforeseen events may occur which could cause the crew to die or be seriously injured.

It is near definite already that there is (or at least has been) life out there. If we were to explore a lot more, we could find out a lot more, and to end it here, I leave you with a message about our generation, from the great Captain Kirk "To boldly go, where no man has gone before"

If we did find another planet like earth. It would be extremely likely for it to contain life. Depending on the intellectual on life( If they are like humans). The world might be clean, otherwise we being humans will move there and destroy it.

We have. Infact it may even be possible that life may live on the planet itself. It has enough heat ,food ,supplies ,and shelter to live. So there may be life on other planets like Earth.

If we did find a Earth-like planet like (kepler-22b) it would be near impossible (in this century at least) to get there since we haven't been to mars yet. PLUS imagine the war that will be going on to claim that planet (for colonization)

Humans will not have the technology to visit even the closest star (Alpha Centauri) for at least a couple of centuries.

There are planets that are pretty much the same as earth but the problem is getting there.
So I encourage you to do some research bro,you might be surprised about what you find.

P.S. The thing about other life is that the universe is huge ( amazingly huge)!
So other life could be so far away that we may never see certain species of aliens.
However if you think about it maybe we are the most advanced species or many other forms of life are in the same stage of civilization we are, but there are many different possiblities like maybe other forms of life don't think the trip here is worth it.To conclude,
There are so many possiblities that trying to think how we will make "first contact" isn't really viable.

Given how many exact things had to happen for human life to exist it's unlikely intelligent life exists anywhere else in a form that could communicate with humans. It would be pretty awesome though, if they didn't try to blow us up.

Even if we did, there would be a REAALLY small chance of getting there. Unless we create some telepathic spaceship or something.
