Recently I downloaded the Pokémon TCG Pocket app before checking reviews and playthroughs…BIG MISTAKE. The guys who programmed the scams and RNGs behind that game can go jump into a burning dumpster. Such a waste of time.

The original Sim City [1989] was touted as a crunchy simulation, but turned out to be far too fluffy for my taste.
I wouldn't have gotten it if I had a suspicion I'd hate it, and the worst thing that happened to me is that I didn't like it that much, but never reached a state of hating a game straight up as far as I remember.

I have yet to find an fps game that is enjoyable even when you lose, and doesn’t have the worst matchups. How are you supposed to enjoy the game if the devs just keep adding broken characters, weapons, and abilities? Combine that with a bunch of toxic, competitive tryhards, and suddenly you’re crawling through a digital hell.
Splatoon, Plants vs Zombies BFN, Smash Bros Ultimate (not an fps, but the same principle): these are all such broken games that are only worth playing if you want to have a terrible time. They’re also only worth playing if you don’t want to touch your controller and let your friends or some prick on the Internet pummel you like a tether ball constantly, because putting any effort in doesn’t make a difference! If anyone tells you these are the greatest games they’ve ever played, then that just means they’re the same trash bags harassing other players for fun, and have never known what winning legitimately is like. Or, they’re just a bunch of stans who go along with anything that’s put into a game, thinking there’s some “order” or “stats” to the whole damn thing.

I was introduced to that game before it even exploded on the internet. I swear, it just got worse with the growing fanbase and updates. Most people don’t even know how to play it and just mindlessly vote out whoever’s “sus” instead of having a coherent discussion about deduction and evidence. Even when you are playing with people with functioning brains, the game has terrible connectivity issues, awful task design, and stupidly vague selection screens in the emergency meeting phase.
The only thing that keeps that poorly ported and managed game alive is a bunch of 6 year olds and brain-dead adults.

Paper Mario Sticker Star, I got stuck in the 2nd world because the objective was not told well if I remember correctly. And it had no personality or soul like the other Paper Mario games before it. But then again its probably been 6 years since I played it, I even sold it to a game store.
