The ability to give yourself player heads in creative. Super useful for building
well gears from indev

The ability to turn it uf
growing moss. it's definitely the most fun block to grind for when you need tons of mossy cobble.
add onto the fact that you can dig holes so much faster with moss since it’s just easier to mine with a hoe than deepslate is with an eff 5 netherite pickaxe and haste beacon (sob)
Also useful for dirt farms 😊
It's also the fastest.
Archaeology
Based on your reply "but every else is not used!", I think you've reversed the question as it sounds lie you feel archaeology is overrated…

Why the clock?
Cuz nobody uses it.
Back when one had to trade with villagers to reset their trades [pre 1.14 VīlPīl ] I would end up with a bunch of them (from resetting librarians) and found them handy to put in underground spaces where one couldn't see the sky (near the kill spots for wortking spawners or at the base of mine access) as it provided a means ofdetermining whether it was night or day without needing that access.
