Fossils and Archaeology
1
Haven't heard that one :)

I like Pixelmon and the Morph Mod, but if you managed to combine them together, it's the best thing ever.
Like, seriously! It feels like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon when you play with them both!

I bet you all the miscellaneous votes are orespawn. XD
1
orespawn is awesome!
1
Yeah, too bad it isn't updated anymore.
1
I'd say that prediction is false, I chose miscellaneous since 'all' wasn't an option.
1
Yea... sorry about that
1
World edit is definitely my favorite, probably because it's the only one I consistently use. Plus, I'm a builder so I don't use survival mods at all.
1
I don’t Use mods, but if I would, i’ll Probs use technologal mods.
PS: I want to use mods but my computer can only handle a few mod packs, which I don’t like very much XD

Make posts that say something up here.
And instead of saying their next comment one line down like this.
They say it all the way down here.

I feel ya its SO annoying isn't it?

World Generation plugins are very nice as it adds lots of new blocks and the worlds are much more unique!
1
Conquest Reforged. Suits my atmosphere, adds tons of blocks, and generally just works well.
1
Dude That's a very nice mod.Just kidding its not nice its EPIC
1
Wait! I didn't know that Conquest Reforged was epic: "noting or pertaining to a long poetic composition, usually centered upon a hero, in which a series of great achievements or events is narrated in elevated style"
That's awesome!
That's awesome!

I would have to choose a favorite between MCheli, TechGuns, Carpenter's Blocks, and Chisel, all of which are hard to put on a plateau above the others.
1
Why isn't "ALL" here?
1
I've haven't thing of that but now its too late i can't update the thread
1
Alright.

1
You're my favorite too. Just kidding I have no favorites.
2
An old one, but the Gulliver's Mod. The Yogscast did a nice video on it. It adds potions that can make you giant or tiny. Not sure why you'd want to be giant, but being tiny lets you walk through upside-down staircases!

Pretty cool mod i would of downloaded that but i don't play on 1.6.4 or older versions :(
1
my fav. is 5zig its fully customizable (best for server use) but i also use a custom mod that i made which displays every single detectable information about the game onto a different window personally i put it on a different screen (and no there is no download and im not uploading it {too op})

I don't use mods but if I did, I would use various.

My favorite mod is a mod which has an easy upgrade curve, blends in with Minecraft and which doesn't "force" you into doing stuff.
For example... Wouldn't you agree that you'd always start with a coal generator when using RFTools and that you'll later pretty much every. single. run. will build a modular storage and maybe an autocrafter? I really grew bored with that. There really isn't a way around it, it's always the same thing. Another problem is that the "upgrade curve" is quite high. The resources you need are somewhat logical, but at the same time also not so much: a machine frame (metal), coal and redstone torches (so you'll need (a lot of) iron, redstone and coal).
If you compare this to, say, Industrial Craft 2 then this "steep curve problem" becomes very obvious: IC2 allows you to start with an iron furnace. You basically take your vanilla furnace and add iron plates to it. It makes sense from a design perspective but it also allows for a much smoother upgrade curve. You got a furnace, then you add metal plates and you get a better iron furnace. Easy!
If you then take your iron furnace and add some redstone and an electronic circuit you suddenly got yourself an electric furnace which is even better. Of course this also requires a generator. Easily made: grab a vanilla furnace and add a machine casing + battery and wham: coal generator.
I believe that IC2 doesn't really force you because basically all it does is provide a better furnace (iron furncace) which you can then upgrade to something even better (electric furnace + coal generator). Heck, there are even 2 ways to make your generator: upgrade a vanilla furnace or your iron furnace.
This really allows you to use the mod gameplay right from the start and expand. Another mod which does this really well is tinkers construct. That allows you to start playing with (slightly) better tools because you crafted them yourself.
So yeah... I don't really favor one specific type of mod because I don't think that works anyway. For example: I always use Tinkers + IC2 together with Voxel map. But that doesn't make Voxel better than Tinkers, nor the other way around.
I prefer mods which really add to your gameplay and manage to blend in with vanilla Minecraft. So that it gives you the feeling of playing an enhanced Minecraft instead of trying to change the entire game.
