Out of sheer curiosity, what's your favorite Pokémon and why? Yes, you are allowed to choose legendary or mythical Pokémon if you want to.
If you want to know who my favorite Pokémon is, it's obviously Mimikyu because of it's gosh darn cute appearance and tragic backstory.

The Alolan golem’s reactor (or whatever you call it) is a good addition to his look. Plus any Pokémon with facial hair is awesome!

Well, although I'm not a fan of Charizard's overrated popularity in the Pokémon universe, I still have a soft side to him too because he's a dragon, and dragons (almost) always look pretty darn cool.

Your gen one list is a bit of a bummer >_>
It's kind of a tie between Scolipede and Volcarona. I love Bug-types, Unova is my favorite region, and they're fairly decent in competitive (stop banning Baton Pass dorks). Plus, for me, Unova was when bugs really became a legitimate and awesome type, especially thanks to these two. It's a shame there's almost no merch for these two bois, I just have a bunch of Flareon stuff instead because that's my favorite mainstream boi

Yeah, it was meant to be a bummer. Heck, I actually chose the most common Pokémon that everybody liked, but the true bummer about the poll is that nobody voted on any of the choices besides the "Other" category. Digressing aside, I actually wish that a Volcarona plush (and maybe even a Scolipede one too) would exist in the stores because I'm trying to collect all 800+ Pokémon in plush form, and the fact that they're are rarely seen is stores is making me more aggravated by the second. Plus, I imagine Volcarona would be a big and fluffy plushie just like my Yveltal.

Vaporeon was my first level 100, I think they are just adorable, plus vaporeon is a very elegant yet powerful pokemon in my eyes.

Yeah, Vaporeon does look pretty majestic, and not only that, it's very powerful in Pokémon Go. I have one named Lapis Lazuli (Yeah, real obvious) and it has thwarted too many gyms to count.

I've only seen a bit of the anime, and barely even played Pokemon go, but based on mostly cuteness Bulbasaur, Eevee and Growlithe are probably my favourites (and doing pikachu impressions are always fun too XD )

Nice! I do a really good Pikachu impression as well, and it's great to do it when you're super bored and you're alone (unless you're around any Pokémon fans or something).

oof This is a toughie. I love a lot of Fire-types. I think it's a tie between Delphox, Infernape, and Ponyta (which is actually the first Pokemon I ever saw, even before Pikachu. It's also been my dream to own a shiny one but no luck ;-;)
As for legendaries, Xerneas and Giratina (My first legendary. Man, I miss Drago.) are my favorites.

Oh, Mew is. Mew’s the closest thing you can get to a jerboa in Pokémon. I thought that would be cheating tho (obviously not). Still don’t love him as much as my Giratina. Drago actually got his name from the Russian wrestler Ivan Drago from Rocky IV. I was a weird kid.
And thank you for showing the shiny Ponyta! Not only is it one of my favorite Pokémon, its shiny is considered one of the best in the game with those blue flames!

Oh, that's alright! You're allowed to name legendary Pokémon as your favorite on this forum like it says on the top. After all, we're all humans and we make mistakes sometimes! With that aside, that's pretty cool that you named your Giratina after a wrestler instead of a Bakugan. I mean, at least I now know another wrestler besides Dolph Lungren from Rocky IV! You learn something new every day... And by the way, what can I say except, you're welcome! I think shiny Ponyta looks pretty as well, and just for fun, I'll show Drago the Giratina and Mew as well. Why not? xD

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of Pikachu either, only because he's kind of overrated. Sure, I said I liked him a few comments down below, but that's only because I have a love-hate relationship with him.

Oh my goodness! I love Mewtwo as well! I personally like him because he is one of the only Pokémon that are able to talk. Heck, as someone who is a big fan of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, if I became a Mewtwo, I'd gain a foot in height (because he's around the 6 foot range)! In the TCG, however, I still have a Mewtwo level X card and Mewtwo EX was my first EX card that I've ever retrieved.

Gotta be totodile. Totodile was my favorite pokemon on the show when I was a wee bab. I don't remember why I liked it. Maybe because it was so happy and quirky? idk. But it's stuck with me.

Hmm... It could be that it always bit everybody on the show for comedic effect. Fun fact, I actually chose Totodile as my starter in Soul Silver (Oddly enough, my first Pokémon game) before stupidly trading it away to my brother and then getting it back a few months later. I was one stupid kid back then! xD

Tbh out of all the starters the ones from gen 2 are my favorite, I think. My first game was Silver (so almost the same?). That cartridge was so large and chunky in my gameboy xD
