What was the best movie you've ever seen?

For me, it has to be either Star Wars: The Last Jedi or Spider-Man: Into The Spider Verse.

Not entirely because I enjoyed the content, but more the quality of the movies. With Star Wars: The Last Jedi, it was just so beautiful, action packed (action packed is a bit of an understatement, as it is by far the most violent of the Star Wars installments!), and just so majestic. It told a brilliant story in my opinion, and now I can't wait for the next film.

As for Spider-Man: Into The Spider Verse, what isn't there to love about it? A brilliant story, much unlike any other Spider-Man movie we've ever seen, relatable humor, downright EPIC action scenes, and plenty of touching moments. I actually found myself on the verge of tears in some parts.

A close third for me would have to be Avengers: Infinity War. I can't wait to watch Avengers: Endgame after seeing Infinity War only like THIRTY TIMES. I expect a lot from Endgame after watching Infinity War.

Personally, my favorite is Wreck-It Ralph. I love the relationship between the two main characters and the story (in my opinion) is really sweet. I don't really watch much more than animated shows / movies or anime so I guess I'm different than most people on this post?

Too many to have a best or favourite, it's like asking which is your favourite, chocolate icecream or icecream chocolate.

I could never choose one so here's my best list.

Last of the Mohicans
Gladiator
Lord of the Rings
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Foreigner
Star Wars (originals)
King Arthur (2004)
Indiana Jones
Matrix
Bladerunner
Van Helsing
Resident Evil
Kill Command
Suicide Squad
Silence of the Lambs
The Goonies
Gangs of New York
Aliens Quadrilogy
Gods of Egypt
Ironclad
Bourne.
Zulu
The Italian Job
Reign of Fire
Kelly's Heroes
Full Metal Jacket
Platoon and Platoon Leader.
Rockie
League of Extraordinary Men
Black Hawk Down
Lost Boys

list is loooooooooooooooong but that's enough.

I could never pick 1 film overall, but could do so for certain genres.

Action: Kelly's Heroes - An old film, but really good. Stars Clint Eastwood as an American soldier during WW2, who goes to steal gold from behind enemy lines.

Comedy: The Harry Hill Movie - A really stupid film staring a British comedian, Harry Hill. Not worth explaining more as I don't think it would be perceived as funny anywhere else except in the UK.

Fantasy: Hobbit/Lord of the Rings - No more said

Sci-fi: Star Trek (The 3 new JJ Abrams ones) - Only just beat Star Wars here, as since I've started to pick series of films, I feel that episodes 4,5, and 6 pull the series down a bit. (I like the prequels, sue me)

Spy: Johnny English

Probably the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I really liked the plot and characters, and the movie was well made, too.

Same choice for me, LotR is almost perfect in my eyes.
First three Pirates of the Carribean movies (especially 1 and 2) are also amazing.

Although yes, I did enjoy the first movie (I'm yet to see the other two), it just went ON AND ON. And me being 10 when I first watched it didn't help, as I naturally had a pretty low attention span. I loved the movie, but it kinda dragged on in my opinion. :)

Gremlins 2: The New Batch. It's the embodiment of perfect chaos and a pure, unfiltered director's vision, and I love it for that. Gremlins 2 actually ages better with time, as the events of the film have become increasingly connected to reality (it was made before cable television was really popular). To me, it's my favorite movie.

I also love Jurassic Park, The Godfather, Aliens, Godzilla vs. Biollante, Rango, and the original six Star Wars films.

Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse. It's just wonderfully made, the art style is stunning, and the story is expertly planned out. But Infinity War and Endgame were awesome, and both made me very emotional, but, I do get emotional very easily. X3

It would have to be Ghost in the Shell or Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

Ghost in the Shell as being my newer favorit, while Atlantis: The Lost Empire is a movie that I grew up with, and was amazed by their U-boats, fight scenes, and the graphic style that it was made in :D

I'm super picky about calling movies my favorites, but I have three.

Lucy, Should I Stay, and Ponyo were all movies I loved - great content, made me cry, had some decent plot. Lucy made me think about being human, Should I Stay makes me actually question my depression, and Ponyo was just so PURE OMG. I recommend all of them.

For my case, it has to be either Into the Spiderverse, any Pixar/Disney movie (not counting Cars 2 or any Direct to DVD Sequels), Prince of Egypt, or Road to El Dorado. They're just so darn beautifully perfect that it makes me smile whenever I get the chance to see them. :3

It was really great, though the third one wasn't really that good in my opinion.. Maybe it would've worked as a different kind of movie rather than something from Despicable Me, but I still love the first two!
