i think that crossbows(upgraded bows) would be good or a taser that stuns enemies for few seconds or a fire rod to light enemies on fire or an old gun like a revolver or musket

The cannons from Tekkit would be a lot of fun, I think

Daggers, Throwing Knives, Hard-To-Load muskets and revolvers (and such), hand axes, cleavers, knives of all other sorts, crossbows, cannons.

I'm also for an optional combat gamemode for SSP/LAN maybe multiplayer, which would have aircraft such as fighters and bombers, AAGuns, ICBMS and alot of really overpowered weaponry that could NOT have enchantments on it, as well as preloaded maps that are editable and lockable for combat, with better gravity physics and stuff (its essentially ace of spades, but more op), it would have a large loadout of unlockable/findable guns, classes and stuff like that (essentially minecraft, ace of spades and tf2 morphed into one op game)

For that idea, there would be a thing at mojang.com for users to submit their own created maps to maybe be officially endorsed and put onto the game.

Along with this combat mode would be several other mods but i wont explain that now, i'll post a blog about it later (be sure to read it )
