Which one of these three photos should I base the castle/palace and/or the 1st class section of Threnmor?
The roleplay:
https://www.planetminecraft.com/forums/pmc/events/-694687

1

(This one defiantly feels like a 1st class section one)

2

(This one seems like it could be the actual castle)

3

(This one also seems like the 1st class section)

I can tell the latter 2 are ai, and I honestly think you can do better than ai generated stuff. Don't get me wrong; you can absolutely use those images as inspiration for what you're going for. But the thing with ai is that it can't fully comprehend the purposes of the elements it's trying to portray; it doesn't understand why it's putting a wall somewhere, only that castles have walls; it doesn't understand why or where it's putting a gate, only that castles have gates.
I'd highly recommend thinking about why the architects are implementing the features they're putting into the castle: what is the scenery around the castle, and how will it affect construction materials and techniques? What are they defending against? How many people is it intended to protect? How important is this castle in its context? These are questions that are definitely going to affect the castle's design and construction.

Another thing you can do is look to media you enjoy and look at how the castles they have look and are built. Even if they're never answered, ask questions about why it's built that way or how it was built.
Just as one example for a series I'm vaguely familiar with, let's try to examine this walled city from Attack on Titan:

I'm gonna be talking while pretending to have no prior knowledge of any sort of lore or conflict (as I have very little), but looking at this, it's clear that these walls seem to be primarily protective, as the emphasis is on sheer scale and strength. However, looking at it, there also appears to be a hierarchy at play here; there's farmland and a town just outside the city we're focusing on, exposed to whatever the walls are trying to protect against, but the primary city is also an outcropping of a much larger wall and excluded from what look like much more tamed and civilized areas. The construction tells a story.

Sorry for rambling; the ai just struck me the wrong way, as I think you're much more creative and skilled than you think, and that you could really do some super cool storytelling and worldbuilding through considering the castle's history (which I know you've already done really well at) without the use of ai.
If you're needing ideas for possible ways to design it, I could also send some references from real and fictional castles that may help.

Not sure of the latter two are ai generated, they could just be digital paint artists without the tremendous amount of knowledge us sophisticated gentlemen hold, but I wouldn't know.
I was just looking at cool castles and chose the ones that fit best XD

I also absolutely agree with you 👍
I assume you have watched Avatar the last Airbender, yes?
Ok good, y'know Ba Sing Se? A large portion of inspiration came from that.
I'd love to see those references by the way

I'm afraid I ran both of the example images through ai-detectors, and they both came out positive, and even then you can tell visually. They look too high quality at first glance to be human, and the mistakes made wouldn't be made by an inexperienced artist. For the second, look at the tops of the watchtowers (I don't know the actual term) and how they're designed; they seem torn between being a parapet or a pointed roof. For the third, the thing that alerted me was the waterfall, which changes direction in a very unnatural way, but the lighting not seeming to have a consistent source is a pretty big red flag (one wall completely lit and the highlight of the image, but the watchtower on the far right is completely dark when they'd be equally exposed to the light). And looking at the walls of both examples closely, it becomes harder to recognize what's supposed to be what. Looking for references is becoming loaded with ai, and I highly suggest learning how to recognize it and its hallmarks.

Ba Sing Se was the exact thing I thought you might have been going for, and I think it fits the Kingdom's story incredibly well.
Considering it's also surrounded by mountains on the North and West (just looking at the Pyron map), a design like Helm's Deep from LOTR or Doldrey from Kentaro Miura's Berserk (I'm just talking about the castle-- please tread very carefully if you're going to look into this series; it is very NSFW and has a lot of incredibly graphic scenes that nobody should ever have to see) may be interesting, as they appear almost both carved from the mountain and built up from it:

Another thing to wonder is what kind of impression you're going for here. Is it supposed to be purely practical? Strong? Easy to defend? Or is there a degree of showiness in its design? Would there be impractical architecture to intimidate outsiders that loom beyond them or even the walls? Are there motifs or colors or flags or something used to show Threnmor's power? Would it be sort of squat for a city, or would it tower over everything that surrounds it?
Depending on what you're going for, here are a few examples of different castles or structures that I think give off different impressions and goals for its onlookers while fitting pretty closely to what I think you're going for here:

The City of Laputa, Hayao Miyazaki's Castle in the Sky

Minas Tirith, J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings

Carcassonne Castle, France

Mont-Saint-Michel, France

These are just to stir your imagination. Lemme know your thoughts!

Not sure if this is affecting the voting, but the third has a small waterfall visible in the center foreground, which could be useful if you're planning to incorporate water features into the interior of your build.

The third one is how I imagined it to be but I didn't picture any bodies of water near the castle
