Why max 3 quotes?

Usually when I get involved in topics of PMC more people reply than I can quote. Why is max 3 quotes only allowed and posting more than one replies don't. Just asking, don't take this as hate or something other thread.

Probably because the more quotes, the smaller the prevous speech bubbles are, and to avoid a page being too long due to long posts, they limited it to 3.
